Full disclosure, i deep clean the slide/barrel after every range trip and dont abuse test the thing. Only thing that works as good are Sig Elite Performance 115gr. I shoot 147gr TPJ reloads for IDPA comps with it and it loves them. For a visual to how i feel here, imagine the scene in The Mask where Dorian is wearing the mask and gets shot like 600 times, sucks up all of the bullets into his mouth and then returns fire. It chews up and spits out whatever i put in it.

115gr, 125gr, 147gr, 165gr projectiles, brass case, steel case, nickel case, JHP, FMJ, TPJ, factory new, reloads, etc. 5-6k rounds through it, and not a single malfunction of any sort. Ive got roughly 5-6k rounds through mine now, and can hit a cellphone sized target reliably at 25 yards if i focus, with factory sights. After quite a bit of practice, i had a handful of shots not even hit paper with my buddys G19 at that distance. Thats not the case with a lot of other pistols. Not anything to write home about objectively, but i knew right away that if i put in the work that the gun wouldnt be the limiting factor inside of 25 yards. On my first range trip, i was able to put all 17 rounds on a standard silhouette at 25 yards. When i bought my Storm back in March, i hadn't shot a pistol in 20-25 years (8-9 years old). The Glock felt like i was trying to strangle a dragon compared to the Storm. Ive said this in another post, but i shot my Storm, then a G19 right after. If its the only 9mm you've shot you dont realize it untill you shoot this, then shoot something else right after. The second part in relation to above is the felt recoil. Feels good in my hand and i can shoot 500 rounds in a single range trip and nothing hurts afterwards. TLDR: Its ergonomic, accurate, reliable, easy to clean, shoots soft.įirst off, the ergonomics are great. Maybe wheel guns and cool items from other manufacturers though. Ill probably only buy a Beretta semi-auto from now on. Ive had other guns that made me fall in love with shooting initially, but the Storm sold me on Beretta pistols. Full-size PX4 Storm 9mm, Beretta competition trigger group, light weight hammer spring, SD cam block, metal guide rod, factory barrel, sights and grip.
